Each year, the U.S. Department of State
sponsors a conference for Fulbright Scholars
from around the world to provide scholars
with a valuable personal and professional
opportunity to supplement their academic
program and their on campus experiences
and to help visiting scholars to develop
an understanding of the US and its citizens'
attitudes concerning issues of national
and international importance. Also, we wanted
to create an environment for the scholars
to interact with fellow Fubrighters, US
Department of State sponsors, and CIES staff.
The theme for the 2008 Visiting Scholar conference was The Rule of Law: A View form the American West. Fulbrighters gathered at the conference in Denver, Colorado on April 2-5, 2008.  More...
