Fulbright Scholar Opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa - 2013-2014

The deadline for the upcoming competition is August 1, 2012, so please get started on your application!

Thank you for expressing interest in a Fulbright Scholar award to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The 2013-2014 Fulbright is now well-underway, and we are hoping that you have decided to apply.

We are seeking qualified faculty to teach, do a combination of research and teaching, or conduct research for the 2013-2014 academic year.  Over 50 award descriptions are available in 13 countries including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Palestinian Territories (West Bank). In addition, applicants interested in doing research in more than 1 country may apply for a multi-country award, the MENA Regional Research Program award.

The awards in the MENA region represent opportunities for faculty of all ranks and disciplines. These include all discipline awards as well as discipline-specific awards in areas such as Business Administration, TEFL and Applied Linguistics, Science and Technology, International Humanitarian and Human Rights Law, Visual and Performing Arts, Library Sciences, and many more. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a PhD or appropriate terminal degree to be eligible to apply.

To learn more about these opportunities and how to apply, please contact cproulx@iie.org or visit www.cies.org/us_scholars/us_awards/.

We are also very excited to be offering 3 upcoming webinars for the MENA region as follows:
