Portugal: New Lecturing Award in the Humanities

The Fulbright Commission in Portugal is offering a new and unique opportunity for dynamic scholars to lecture in the humanities at one of Portugal’s most prestigious institutions of higher learning

CIES welcomes your application for this 3-month lecturing fellowship at the University of Lisbon.  This award offers the successful candidate a wide range of opportunities  through its ties to three departments of the School of Letters (English, Comparative Studies and Literary Theory).  All specializations in the humanities are welcome, providing versatility in crafting potential courses.

Benefits include a monthly allowance of 2,800 euro and a travel grant of $1500. 
Applicants must have a Ph.D. and 5 years of teaching experience, though all academic ranks are welcome.  English may be used as the language of instruction.
