Psychoanalysts, live your dream in Vienna: the Fulbright-Freud award

Scholars in the theory and/or application of psychoanalysis: this is the chance to design the research and teaching experience of your dreams with the Fulbright-Freud Visiting Scholar award in Psychoanalysis in Vienna, Austria.

The Council for International Exchange of Scholars welcomes your application for this 4-month fellowship at the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna.  The Fulbright-Freud scholar will conduct research at the Freud Museum and teach one or two courses or seminars on a topic related to his/her research project at a Viennese host institution, to be arranged in consultation with the Freud Foundation and the Austrian Commission.

Benefits include a monthly allowance of 3,300 euro and a travel grant of 800 euro.  Housing and a library workstation will be provided by the host institution.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens with several years of teaching/lecturing or professional experience in relevant fields of psychoanalysis.  English may be used as the language of instruction, but proficiency in German is preferred.
