Question: Hello, I was wondering about the bibliography, if you can recommend any formats or guidelines to follow in devising one.
Answer: The bibliography should be organized either chronologically or topically, whatever makes the most sense to you. The readers are sophisticated enough to see the logic.

Question: The three page bibliography refers to the research project a candidate proposes, is that correct?  Or does it apply to the courses one teaches as well?
Answer: The bibliography is normally associated with research projects.  Most teaching projects focus on syllabi with the possible addition of a bibliography of readings for students.

Question: Is it correct that bibliography is only required for a research award?
Answer: Yes. The bibliography is required only for research.

Question: For the combination lecturer/research award, a bibliography is not part of the application. Is that correct?
Answer: If you do a research/lecturing proposal, you must do both and that means a bibliography must be submitted for the research component.

Question: Regarding the Bibliography, is that supposed to be a list of references used in your Project Statement of a list of your own publications? I assumed the CV would include the list of your publications.
Answer: Yes, your own publications would go in your CV and the bibliography is used to give the background to your research project - though in some cases that may include something you've written as well.

Question: Can you include citations in your 3-page bibliography of your own work, if these pieces are relevant to the proposed project?
Answer: Yes, you certainly can if it is appropriate.
