are supported in a number of fields. During her year at the Imperial
Valley campus of San Diego State University, a Mexican grantee
lectured on the difficulties U.S. business representatives encounter
when establishing businesses in Mexico--a topic of great relevance
following the passage of the North Atlantic Free Trade Agreement
(NAFTA).
The scholar, an associate professor in the School of Accountancy
and Administration at the Autonomous University of Baja California,
taught through video conferencing, which also allowed students
at San Diego State's main campus to enroll. Of her experience,
the scholar said, "I am very pleased to be able to participate
in this project. Hopefully, this will help diminish the lack of
information there is regarding human resource administration in
Mexico."
