On May 2nd, 25 Fulbright Visiting Scholars in the Washington, D.C. area gathered for a luncheon at CIES to discuss their experiences as Fulbright grantees as many of them prepare for the end of their grants. Scholars were asked to reflect on their time in the United States, share their personal stories and examine how their perceptions have changed since they first arrived. This luncheon serves as a follow-up event to the Visiting Scholar Reception held each fall to welcome the new scholars to the area.
