Fulbright Program Innovations
In order to meet the changing needs of academia and develop new options to better accommodate the interests and commitments of today’s scholars, Fulbright has introduced several innovations to the Core Fulbright U.S. Program, including: Fulbright Flex Awards, Fulbright Postdoctoral/Early Career Awards, Salary Stipend Supplements, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language Awards.
Fulbright Flex Awards
In order to engage U.S. scholars currently unable to spend extended periods of time abroad, the Fulbright Program welcomes applications from scholars who propose multiple, short-term stays in the host country over a period of one to two years. Read More >>

The Fulbright program is eager to engage postdoctoral and early career academics, offering opportunities in a range of countries and fields. These awards present an excellent opportunity for recently minted scholars to deepen their expertise, to acquire new skills, to work with additional resources and to make connections with others in their fields. Fulbright Global Scholar Award
The Fulbright U.S. Global Scholar Award provides U.S. academics and professionals with the flexibility to engage in advanced regional or trans-regional research and/or teaching.
