Position: Senior Manager | Business Processes and Information Systems (.PDF)
To coordinate and implement information and communication technology services that support the administrative infrastructure of CIES and its programs and services; to liaise with department program units, IT Liaison Leads and other support areas of the business on information and communication technology matters and to assure coordination and seamless functionality of technology systems; to provide leadership, coordination and analysis of technology systems and applications that support the work of the department; to develop appropriate metrics for IT and to implement and maintain them; allocate work responsibilities and assignments and establish a team approach across the department; to coordinate and implement staff training on IT related issues; to monitor compliance controls and communicate policy and procedures; to assess opportunities for ongoing improvements in systems and applications within the department; and to assess, discuss and implement opportunities for organizational improvements and increased efficiency on an ongoing basis.

Position: Internship | Unit: CIES (.PDF) - DSPP Internship Opportunity
IIE’s Department of Scholar and Professional Programs is supported by various units, including the Outreach and Public Affairs unit, Finance and Operations unit, and Regional Program units, among others. The Outreach and Public Affairs and Finance and Operations units support five Regional Program units, or program staff. Each unit’s work is closely linked to other units, so coordination, communication, and collaboration are key.

IIE offers internships to undergraduate and graduate students in the spring, summer and fall. Interns who seek exposure to the field of international education and develop valuable workplace skills are encouraged to apply for internships with any of the DSPP units described below.
