Unit: Asia and the Pacific | Position: Program Associate (.PDF)
To assist in the administration of the Fulbright Scholar Program for the Asia and the Pacific region in accordance with policies and procedures of CIES, the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, and the United States Department of State; to carry out work responsibilities and assignments within the designated world region as part of a team that works collaboratively within the program unit and within CIES; to provide support to the designated program unit on the recruitment, review, affiliation and post-selection services for visiting scholars and U.S. scholars; to carry out other responsibilities associated with CIES programs and services as  assigned by the responsible Assistant Director. Position: Program Development Coordinator | Unit: Executive Division (.PDF)
Develops proposal, materials that communicate the capabilities of CIES, from inquiry letters to full proposals, to budgets and budget narratives for existing and new programs; actively seeks opportunities for new program development for existing and new sponsors, maintains and develops existing and new client and sponsor relationships in close collaboration with the Executive Director of CIES; works collaboratively with staff across CIES/IIE to identify and develop opportunities for new programs that allow CIES to leverage its experience and expertise; monitors compliance with program objectives and seeks opportunities for ongoing improvements in the delivery of programs; administers new CIES programs as assigned with the potential of overseeing program administration as opportunities expand; assists the Executive Director with other program development and coordination tasks as assigned. Unit: Europe – East and North | Position: Program Officer (.PDF)
To administer the Fulbright Scholar Program for the Europe unit. To administer the program in accordance with policies and procedures of CIES, the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, and the United States Department of State; to carry out work responsibilities and assignments within the Europe unit as part of a team that works collaboratively within the unit and within CIES; to administer scholar caseloads for countries within Europe, with emphasis on Eastern Europe, Russia or Ukraine, and others as assigned by the Assistant Director; to collaborate with colleagues in the unit and with CIES outreach and public relations staff to implement appropriate recruitment strategies for US scholars; to administer the peer review process and post selection services for US scholars; to assist visiting scholars with affiliation at US universities and provide post-selection services to visiting scholars; to identify and create synergies between US and Visiting Scholar programs in collaboration with the Assistant Director; to work with overseas Fulbright Commissions and U.S. Embassy posts and with professional associations and scholars in coordination with the Assistant Director and other CIES leadership as needed. Position: Program Associate | Unit: Global and Specialist Programs (.PDF)
Provide central administrative support to the Global and Specialist Programs Unit, in accordance with policies and procedures of CIES/IIE, the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, and the United States Department of State. The Program Associate position will provide logistical assistance to the unit, primarily working with the Fulbright Specialists Program (FSP), and work on program outreach activities that support the program's growth. The program associate will also interface with the Program Services Unit as needed. Benefits
