Awards and Benefits
Summary:  Up to three lecturing or lecturing/research awards.
Program Overview:  Areas of special interest are international trade and finance, journalism, economic development, small business development, TEFL, public administration, criminal justice, international relations and gender studies. The two-semester academic year normally runs from early March to early July and from early August to early December. For lecturing/research projects, candidates should plan a 60/40 ratio between teaching and research. In some cases, requested grant lengths may need to be adjusted at the discretion of the Fulbright Program.

Benefits
Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $1,300-$1,700, based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $2,100-$4,100, based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Tuition Assistance: n.a.
Other Benefits:  Allowance of $1,000 for books and educational materials to be donated to the host institution or other entity upon grantee's departure.
