Awards and Benefits
Summary:  Up to two awards for lecturing, research or combined lecturing/research. See also research opportunities under the Middle East and North Africa Regional Research Program.
Program Overview:  The academic year is October 2009 through June 2010.

Benefits
Stipend: $1,870-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-08 the following was provided: $1,700-$2,600 per month, based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-08 the following was provided: $4,700-$5,615 based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Tuition Assistance: Up to $5,000 per child or $10,000 per family for accompanying dependent children in grades K-12 is reimbursed for a full academic year. Amount is adjusted for shorter grant periods. Reimbursement is based on actual cost of tuition and fees only.
Other Benefits:  One-time allowance of $2,000 for research grants.
