Awards and Benefits
Summary:  Approximately eight awards for lecturing and research.
Program Overview:  For lecturing awards, applicants should have at least 2 years of university teaching experience. Letters of invitation will be taken into account, but final decisions regarding scholar affiliations will be made by the Fulbright Commission in Ankara. The academic year consists of two semesters: October to January and February to June, with the exception of Bilkent University, where semesters are from September to December and January to May. Preference is for awards of academic-year duration, although one-semester awards will be considered in most cases.

Benefits
Stipend: $1,500-$2,000 monthly base stipend, based on category of award.
Maintenance: $500 monthly stipend, plus housing or housing allowance.
Travel/Relocation: For academic-year grants, airfare from hometown to city of assignment for grantee and one dependent. Grants for less than a full academic year include airfare for grantee only. Allowance of $250 for excess baggage and $500 for relocation.
Tuition Assistance: For academic-year lecturing awards, tuition reimbursement for only one accompanying school-age dependent (K-12).
Other Benefits:  One-time incidentals allowance of $200.
