Awards and Benefits
Summary:  Up to five awards from among the openings listed below.
Program Overview:  The academic year is October through June with the second semester beginning in February. Awards are rarely given for the summer months unless justified by the nature of the project and pre-arranged with the prospective host institution.

Benefits
Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-08 the following was provided: $250-$500 monthly subsistence allowance based on number of accompanying dependents and city of placement; housing allowance provided by the host country.
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-08 the following was provided: $3,500-$8,500, based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Tuition Assistance: Tuition Assistance.
Other Benefits:  Book allowance of $1,500 for one- or two-semester grants for lecturing or combined lecturing/research.
