Awards and Benefits
Summary:  Up to four awards for lecturing or lecturing/research.
Program Overview:  Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or an appropriate terminal degree and have at least 3 years of teaching experience at the university level or the professional equivalent. A small allowance for translation will be provided if needed and based on available funding. Scholars in all disciplines are welcomed. The U.S. Embassy will arrange host institution affiliations.

Benefits
Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $600-$1,300 per month, based on the number of accompanying dependents and the city of placement. Housing for families may be in short supply.
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $4,500-$11,000, based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Tuition Assistance: Tuition Assistance.
Other Benefits:  A book allowance of $1,500 for the period of the grant.
