Awards and Benefits
Summary:  Approximately 2-3 awards for lecturing/research.
Program Overview:  Applicants should hold a Ph.D. and have at least 5 years of university teaching experience or the professional equivalent. Education administration, conflict studies, public policy, business administration, economics, applied linguistics and American studies are top priority disciplines. U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section (PAS) will confirm affiliation and placement of U.S. Fulbright Scholars. Benefits
Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $750-$1,400 per month, based on the number of accompanying dependents and the city of placement. Housing for families may be in short supply.
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $4,000-$9,000, based on the number of accompanying dependents.
Tuition Assistance: Tuition Assistance.
Other Benefits:  A book allowance of $1,500 for the period of the grant.
