Awards and Benefits
Summary:  Two lecturing or lecturing/research awards.
Program Overview:  English is the medium of instruction in Singapore except the mother tongue languages. There is a fairly international pool of faculty in Singapore universities.

Benefits
Stipend: $2,640-$3,850 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
Maintenance: A subsistence allowance of US$350-US$550 per month, based on the number of accompanying dependents. Subsidized housing or a housing allowance is provided by the host institution, as well as a stipend of SGD$3,000 per month and a local transportation allowance of SGD$600 per month. (As of November 7, 2007, exchange rate is US$1=SGD$1.44.)
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: US$4,250-US$8,850, based on the number of accompanying dependents. The host institution also provides a one-time settling-in allowance of SGD$2,000.
Tuition Assistance: Tuition Assistance.
