Program Overview:
Candidates with a Ph.D. and minimum of 2 years of university or college teaching experience are preferred. The academic calendar is based on a three-term system: October to December, January to March and April through June or July.

Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
|
|
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $500-$800 per month, based on the number of dependents, plus a housing allowance of up to $1200-1400 per month.
|
|
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $6,000 for the grantee; additional dependent travel allowance of $4,000 for one accompanying dependent, $8,000 for two or more dependents.
