Awards and Benefits
Summary:  One or more lecturing/research awards. For research awards, see the African Regional Research Program.
Program Overview:  Candidates with a Ph.D. and at least 5 years of postdoctoral university or college teaching experience are preferred. The academic calendar consists of two semesters, August through December and January through July. English language schools for accompanying dependent school age children include Le Bocage International School and Clavis Primary School.

Benefits
Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $800-$1,100 per month, based on the number of dependents, plus housing and a supplemental housing allowance of $600 per month for utilities, refurbishing and repair of university housing.
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $8,300 for the grantee; additional dependent travel allowance of $5,500 for one accompanying dependent, $11,000 for two or more dependents.
