Program Overview:
Candidates with a minimum rank of assistant professor and at least 3 years of postdoctoral university or college teaching experience are preferred. The academic calendar starts in January and ends in October. An English language school, the American School of Antananarivo (K-12), is available for accompanying dependent school-age children.

Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.

|
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $1,850-$2,350 per month, based on the number of dependents.

Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $7,800 for the grantee; additional dependent travel allowance of $5,000 for one accompanying dependent, $10,000 for two or more dependents.
