Program Overview:
Candidates with a Ph.D. and 3 or more years of postdoctoral university or college teaching experience are preferred. The academic year is generally October to July. An English language school, the International Community School of Abidjan (K-12) is available for accompanying dependent K-12 school-age children.

Stipend: $2,640-$2,860 monthly base stipend, according to the standard base stipend formula.
|
|
Maintenance: Standard maintenance. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $750-$1,050 per month, based on the number of dependents, plus housing and a supplemental housing allowance of $600 per month for utilities, refurbishing and repair of university housing.
|
|
Travel/Relocation: Standard travel/relocation. For 2007-2008 the following was provided: $6,250 for the grantee; additional dependent travel allowance of $4,250 for one accompanying dependent, $8,500 for two or more dependents.
