Theater-Interpretation and Movement

Grant Activity: During the first 2 months, the grantee will teach one course in interpretation consisting of 12 hours of lecturing plus 3 meeting hours per week. In the third month the grantee will teach a creative writing analysis seminar (graduate level) corresponding to 12 hours of lecturing and 3 meeting hours per week. The average class size will be 15-20 students. Students purchase books. Other duties assigned to the grantee will be curriculum development, tutorials, and student advising corresponding to 15 hours per week.
Specialization(s): Knowledge of the Actor's Studio Method.
Language: English is sufficient
Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred and more than 20 years of experience. Professionals and non-academics will be considered if they have experience in different performing and writing techniques.
Location: School of Arts and Design, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria
Length of Grant: 3 months
Starting Date: March 8, 2010
Comments: The host institution will provide computer facilities, Internet access (wireless) and e-mail, as well as office space and secretarial assistance.
