Comments: Mexico offers many opportunities to senior-level TEFL specialists in improving the teaching of English at all levels of the educational system and in strengthening or creating programs at the B.A. and M.A. levels to train future teachers, particularly at public universities located outside the major metropolitan areas. Full academic-year grants are preferred. Start dates must correspond with the academic calendar of the host institution. COMEXUS will arrange affiliations in consultation with grantees. As this award supports faculty and program development, not the teaching of English students, applicants should have teacher training and curriculum development experience. The ability to work in a consulting capacity, administrative experience and flexibility would also be assets.
