Grant Activity: Teach current speech and language therapists in further studies in dysphagia and/or voice disorders. Class size is 10. Total hours include 95 class hours and 45 practical hours over a 12-week period. Conduct other short courses, as arranged; assist with clinics, administration and tutorials. Assist with administration and tutorial sessions in B.S. program. Conduct field visits to monitor student placements.
Specialization(s): Adult dysphagia and/or voice disorders
Additional Qualifications: Professionals with at least 3 years teaching experience and clinical experience will be considered. Experience with clinical or research supervision preferred.
Location: Disabilities Studies Unit, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya
Length of Grant: 3 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September 2009 or later
