South and Central Asia Regional Research Program

Specialization(s): Including, but not limited to, architecture, area studies, visual and performing arts, biological sciences, communication, education, engineering, environmental studies, humanities, law, medical sciences, physical sciences, social sciences.
Language: Appropriate language proficiency is needed for successful completion of the project.
Additional Qualifications: Non-academic professionals who have a record of published research will be considered.
Location: Applicants are encouraged to arrange affiliation & include letter of invitation.
Length of Grant: 3 months to 9 months
Starting Date: Award activity must be undertaken in a single period of residence abroad between June 1, 2009 and September 30, 2010.
Comments: Proposals must provide a detailed itinerary of travel to each country, including proposed host institutions and sites to be visited. If possible, letters from host institutions confirming affiliation should be included. If an affiliation is not confirmed by the time of selection, the applicant will be responsible for obtaining an affiliation as a condition of receiving an award.
