Grant Activity: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in one or more of the areas of specialization. Offer tutorials, advise students and assist in curriculum development, as requested.
Specialization(s): Communications, sociology, sociology of culture, history of sociology, social science statistics and research methods, forecasting, multiculturalism, social work management, environment management, library science and management, English philology and translation studies
Language: English is sufficient for lecturing.
Location: Department of Foreign Affairs, Liepaja Pedagogical University; Latvian Academy of Culture; Department of Library Science and Information Science, University of Latvia; Higher School of Social Work and Social Pedagogics ATTISTIBA
Length of Grant: 5 months to 9 months
Starting Date: September 2009 or February 2010 for one-semester grants; September 2009 for academic-year grants
Comments: Appointments, level of courses and semester dates are dependent on specialization. Rezekne University has requested a specialist in English philology and translation studies.
