Grant Activity: Conduct research and lecture to graduate students and faculty. Possibly participate in or lead seminars and workshops, conduct assessment of research and academic needs and conduct teacher training for faculty.
Specialization(s): Multiple disciplines in the sciences, including but not limited to: renewable energy, water resource management, nanomaterials, stem cell research, plant biotechnology, infection and immunity.
Language: Arabic language proficiency is an asset though not required.
Additional Qualifications: Ph.D., rank of professor or associate professor and at least 3 years of higher education teaching experience required. Scientists from research institutions may also apply and should hold a Ph.D. and at least 3 years of research experience.
Location: National Research Center
Length of Grant: 3 months to 9 months
Starting Date: Flexible in the academic year 2009-10
