Grant Activity: Teach undergraduate and, if offered, graduate courses in biostatistics; geographic information systems; ecology; analytical, inorganic or physical chemistry; medicine; medical laboratory science; nursing; pharmacy; physics; psychology or pediatrics. Conduct research in area of specialization.
Location: Mbarara University of Science and Technology; Gulu University or Uganda Christian University

Candidates are encouraged to contact CIES for contact information for any of the three listed host institutions. In order to enhance the educational capacity at these relatively newer public and private universities in the country, preference is for applications to these institutions rather than for the award at Makerere University.
