Grant Activity: Teach introductory and advanced courses at the undergraduate level. Assist in curriculum and program development. Advise on teaching methodologies. The grantee may also be asked to present lectures in other institutions or campuses of the Catholic University of Bolivia.
Language: Fluent Spanish is required; applicants must submit a language proficiency report
Location: Catholic University of Bolivia--Tarija
Length of Grant: 5 months to 9 months
Starting Date: July 2009 or January 2010
Comments: The Catholic University of Bolivia is seeking to establish an Institute of Public Policy, Leadership and Democracy, to respond to needs for the academic training of young leaders in civic leadership, ethics, comparative government and the strengthening of civil society. The institute will seek to address public policy challenges at the community, regional and national levels. A letter of invitation is not required but applicants are encouraged to contact the university for further information.
