Grant Activity: Conduct research, develop collaborations and give occasional public lectures.
|
|
Specialization(s): Scholars with backgrounds in the social sciences or the humanities, including visual and oral culture, are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be working in one of the following areas of American or Canadian Studies: (1) Public culture, its texts, images, institutions, production, history, or reception; or (2) Human rights in national and post-national contexts, including their relation to civil society, governance, or the state. Interdisciplinary and comparative approaches are welcome.

Language: Working knowledge of French commensurate with the requirements of the project.

|
Additional Qualifications: Junior scholars with promising research records as well as established senior scholars are encouraged to apply.

Length of Grant: 4 months or 9 months
