Grant Activity: Lecture at the graduate or undergraduate level in the grantee's area of expertise. Assist in curriculum development and teaching on U.S. law as part of a special program to educate Salvadoran professionals about the U.S. legal system. Work with law faculty to develop a parallel program, which will be offered by the Central American University (UCA) in the future, to educate U.S. law professionals and students about the Central American legal system.

Language: Fluent Spanish is required; applicants must submit a language proficiency report.

Additional Qualifications: J.D., teaching or training experience and experience with rule of law in developing country contexts. Professional candidates will be considered in addition to candidates with academic appointments.

Length of Grant: 4 months to 9 months

Starting Date: August 2009 or March 2010 for one-semester grants; March 2010 for academic-year grants
