Deadline:  August 1, 2008
Grant Activity: Deliver lectures, seminars or workshops to students and professors and assist in curriculum development in any area of law. Collaborative research with Chilean colleagues is also encouraged.
Language: Good to fluent Spanish is required; applicants must submit a language proficiency report.
Location: Any school of law in Chile, with preference for the universities listed below. Applicants can indicate preference but the Commission will arrange or confirm affilations.
Length of Grant: 3 months to 6 months
Starting Date: August 2009 or March 2010
Comments: While applicants may propose affiliation with any school of law in Chile, three institutions have research groups and offer an accredited Ph.D. in law: University of Chile (www.uchile.cl); Catholic University (www.puc.cl); University of the Andes (www.uandes.cl).
