Deadline:  August 1, 2008
Grant Activity: Develop and teach courses in media research/analysis or online journalism, between 9 and 12 hours of teaching per week. These will be undergraduate, lecture-style courses, with an average class size of 25 students. Assist with tutorials, student advising, faculty training and curriculum development. Conduct research while not engaged in lecturing or other duties at the host university.
Language: All courses will be conducted in English. Khmer language proficiency would be useful but is not necessary.
Additional Qualifications: M.A. in Journalism with 5 years of experience as a teacher and/or journalist. See comments on details for non-academics.
Location: Department of Media and Communication, Royal University of Phnom Penh
Length of Grant: 10 months
Starting Date: Third week of September 2009
Comments: Non-academic professionals may be considered if the applicant has extensive experience and demonstrated success in the field of specialization.
