Grant Activity: Teach three seminars in the following advanced and master's programs in library and information science: postgraduate program in library and information science and master's program in information and communication. Nine hours of lecturing per week and 6 meeting hours per week. The average class size will be 25 students. Reading assignments are handled through library and online materials. Grantee will also be involved in curriculum development.
Specialization(s): Archives, metadata, digital preservation and records management
Language: English is sufficient.
Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. with at least 5 years teaching experience. Professionals and non-academics will be considered if they have at least 10 years of professional experience.
Location: Institute of Library and Archives Information Sciences, University of Coimbra
Length of Grant: 3 months
Starting Date: March 1, 2010
Comments: The academic term ends in May. The host institution will provide computer facilities, Internet access (wireless) and e-mail, office space and secretarial assistance.
