Grant Activity: Conduct postdoctoral research in the exact sciences. The nature of research projects and support by host laboratories is to be agreed upon in direct communication between applicants and prospective hosts.

Language: Hebrew is helpful but not required.

Additional Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have received doctorates within 3 year period prior to the date of application. Holders of tenure-track positions are not eligible to apply.

Comments: Applicants must arrange affiliation and include letter of invitation. Applicants must apply to potential hosts at the Technion, according to Technion guidelines, in parallel to submission of their applications. Prior to confirmation of an award, candidates will be required to provide proof of acceptance by the Technion as a postdoctoral research fellow. The Technion must provide fellows with its customary, basic postdoctoral award as a complement to the Fulbright postdoctoral fellowship provided by the United States-Israel Educational Foundation and the American Technion Society. The Fulbright award is $17,500 per academic year, for two academic years (20 months net in Israel).
