Grant Activity: Teach courses and collaborate in research with a Technion partner. Applicants should describe proposed courses and submit a detailed plan of research.
Specialization(s): Architecture and town planning, biology, chemistry, engineering (biomedical, chemical, civil, computer science, food and biotechnology, industrial, materials, mechanical), management, mathematics (pure and applied), medicine, physics, science and technology education, space technology, transportation, water resources
Additional Qualifications: Professor or associate professor rank is required.
Location: TECHNION--Israel Institute of Technology
Length of Grant: 4 months to 9 months
Starting Date: September/October 2009 or February 2010
Comments: A host institution is obliged to make a financial contribution toward the funding of its guest's USIEF grant. This financial aspect should be included in preliminary discussions with university representatives prior to the issuance of a letter of invitation.
