Grant Activity: Lecture in comparative public administration, public management and/or social policy at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. Offer a seminar on research conducted during the grant period. Engage in professional development work with senior public sector officials on cross-border (Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) short courses. Consult on curriculum development.

Additional Qualifications: Well-developed teaching and research networks within U.S. universities. Track record of international research within one or more of the following teaching areas: comparative public administration, public management and social policy.

Starting Date: Between September 2009 and April 2010
Comments: The Initiative on Conflict Resolution and Ethnicity, INCORE, is located within the school. INCORE is a joint initiative of the United Nations University and the University of Ulster, addressing the management and resolution of ethno-political conflicts through a combination of research, policy and Internet work. The grantee will be afforded the full facilities of permanent faculty staff to support his/her ongoing research, including office accommodation, computer access, library resources and other sports and social facilities.
