Grant Activity: Lecture and conduct research in electronics, information technology or telecommunications technology at a Finnish university. Applicants must negotiate teaching/research ratio, number and level of courses to be taught, etc., with the host institutions. Preferences of the host institution should be discussed prior to arrival. The scholar may be asked to supervise some master's or Ph.D. theses and give a guest lecture at the Nokia Research Center.

Language: English is sufficient.

Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred. Professionals will be considered.

Location: Applicants must arrange affiliation and submit a letter of invitation.

Length of Grant: 4 months to 9 months
|

Starting Date: Late August 2009 or January 2010

Comments: This award is sponsored by the Nokia Oyj Foundation. Host institution must arrange and pay housing for the scholar. Preferably, the letter of invitation should include the information on the agreed teaching/research proposal and housing. The length and dates of proposed visit should also be mentioned in the invitation letter.
