Fulbright Chair in U.S.-EU Relations

Grant Activity: The candidate may pursue independent research in the first semester. In the second semester, he/she will lead a course in the framework of a master's program to a very select group of graduate students from Europe and North America. This course will deal with aspects of transatlantic relations. One seminar during the second term (30 hours, taught in a "block system" with dates individually arranged). Average class size is 20-30 students. Students can purchase books, but as a rule the library is used for reading. Grantee may also be asked to provide thesis advising and participate in conferences, etc. On European affairs, the college library is among the best available, but it covers a broad range of subjects beyond that.
Specialization(s): Within U.S.-EU relations, the following specialties are preferred: political science, economics, administrative studies, public policy.
Language: French is desirable, but not required.
Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. and several years of teaching experience. Preferably associate or full professor, but assistant professor will be considered.
