Fulbright-SyCip Distinguished Lecturing Award: Study of the United States

Grant Activity: Give lectures and present workshops at major universities and organizations in Metro Manila and other institutions in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. The grantee may be asked to address professional organizations, non-governmental organizations and government agencies. The grantee must submit abstracts and papers on their proposed lecture topics to the Philippine-American Educational Foundation before the beginning of the grant.

Additional Qualifications: Full professors with distinguished scholarly or professional record are sought.
Location: Affiliation to be determined.
Length of Grant: 2 weeks to 1 month
Starting Date: Between January to February 2010
Comments: This award is funded by a grant from the Washington SyCip Family Foundation. The principal objective of the award is the promotion of better relations between the Philippines and the U.S. through educational exchanges. The Philippine-American Educational Foundation will coordinate the grantee's program with the host universities and other institutions in the Philippines.
