Grant Activity: Conduct research on EU affairs or U.S.-EU relations. Preference will be given to projects focusing on the organizations of the EU, particularly on the process of institution building within the EU and a variety of topics of interest. Projects requiring the grantee's presence in one or more of the member states of the EU are preferred.

Language: Candidates will need language proficiency for the country in which they will be located. Interpreters generally not provided.

Additional Qualifications: Several years of experience beyond the Ph.D. are required. Professionals (decision-makers, policy-makers, individuals in industry, the media, politics) with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

|
Location: Applicants must arrange affiliation and include letter of invitation.
|

Length of Grant: 2 months to 5 months
|
|
Starting Date: Grants must occur between September 2009 and June 2010
|
|
