Grant Activity: Teach courses to undergraduate and graduate students. The teaching load will vary from 4-6 hours per week. The average class size is 25-50 students. The class format will typically consist of lectures followed by seminars. Participate in faculty training and curriculum development as well as in conferences. The grantee will have access to all department laboratories, libraries and archives.
Specialization(s): Agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, food science and technology, biochemical engineering
Language: English is sufficient for the award. If needed, the university will provide an interpreter.
Location: Taraz State University
Length of Grant: 4 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September 1, 2009 or February 1, 2010
