Grant Activity: Teach undergraduate and, if offered, graduate courses in (1) computer science, information technology, education instructional technology and e-learning at Islamic University in Uganda, (2) computer science, information technology or mathematics at Mbarara University of Science and Technology or (3) electronic, industrial, management, mechanical or manufacturing engineering at Kyambogo University. Conduct research in area of specialization.
Location: Islamic University of Uganda; Mbarara University of Science and Technology or Kyambogo University
Length of Grant: 10 months
Starting Date: August 2009
Comments: Possible host institutions and their Web sites, if available, follow: (1) Islamic University in Uganda, www.iuiu.ac.ug, (2) Mbarara University of Science and Technology, www.must.ac.ug or (3) Kyambogo University, www.kyambogo.ac.ug. In order to enhance the educational capacity at these relatively newer public and private universities in the country, preference is for applications to these institutions rather than for the award at Makerere University.
