Economic Modeling

Grant Activity: Assist in building macroeconomic model for the Qatari economy and develop professional training programs for Planning Council staff.
Language: Intermediate Arabic proficiency is desirable but not required.
Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. and at least 5 years of postdoctoral higher education research or teaching are preferred.
Location: The Planning Council
Length of Grant: 3 months to 10 months
Starting Date: September 2009 or later
Comments: Award dates are flexible. Furnished housing is provided. Communication with the host institution and the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Doha prior to submission of an application is recommended.
