Comments: Preferred host institutions and their Web sites, if available, follow: (1) Islamic University in Uganda, www.iuiu.ac.ug, (2) Uganda Martyrs University, www.fiuc.org/umu, (3) Uganda Christian University, www.ucu.ac.ug, or (4) Mbarara University of Science and Technology, www.must.ac.ug. Other possible host institutions include: (5) Kyambogo University, www.kyambogo.ac.ug, (6) Nkumba University, www.nkumbauniversity.ac.ug or (7) Gulu University. In order to enhance the educational capacity at these relatively newer public and private universities in the country, preference is for applications to these institutions rather than for the award at Makerere University.
