Grant Activity: Teach at the graduate level and develop undergraduate level curriculum in computer engineering, including hardware and simulation laboratory exercises progressively leading to the design and implementation of a group project addressing a local need; mentor academic and laboratory support staff on the lecture program described above; prepare a comprehensive report on the development and delivery of the two-course wireless communication program; establish a research program in computer engineering that is linked to the teaching program and is also linked to local issues, particularly those which impact poor communities and traditionally marginalized citizens.
