Grant Activity: Teach undergraduate courses in linguistics or English as a foreign language. Approximately 8-10 class hours weekly. Supervise undergraduate theses. Applicants may suggest courses for consideration. Final activities and courses determined in consultation with host institution.

Additional Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.A. and substantial experience in applied linguistics or education is required. Prior experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages is essential.

Location: Affiliation to be determined, but applicant may indicate preference.

Length of Grant: 10 months

Starting Date: September 2009
|

Comments: Courses in Moroccan state-run universities are now based on a semester system, and lecturers generally need to apply for a 10-month grant in order to teach two semesters. The first semester runs from early September to late January and the second semester from early February to late June.
