Grant Activity: Teach courses at the undergraduate or graduate level. Assist with graduate student tutoring and preparation of teaching materials, as requested. Scholars may also be asked to give guest lectures at other Turkish institutions.
Specialization(s): American studies, law, American literature, political science, economics, American history
Language: English is sufficient for lecturing. Knowledge of Turkish is helpful.
Location: Affiliation to be determined.
Length of Grant: 4.5 months or 9 months
Starting Date: October 2009 or January 2010 for one-semester grants; September 2009 for academic-year grants
Comments: Awards may be located at any of the following institutions: Hacettepe University, Ankara; Ankara University, Ankara; Istanbul University, Istanbul; Bosphorus University, Istanbul; Ege University, Izmir and Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir and other universities in the country.
