Grant Activity: Teach two Ph.D. seminars (three to six students per class). Courses will require 4 hours total per week. Advise on Ph.D. theses in grantee's area of expertise. Opportunities for research within the Department of American Studies and at the Center of American Studies in Rome, where Italy's best library in the field is located.

Additional Qualifications: Applicants should have 10 years teaching experience and rank of associate or full professor.
