Grant Activity: Lecture or lecture and conduct research in any area of interest, with preference for the fields listed below. For lecturing/research projects, candidates should plan a 50/50 ratio between teaching and research.
Specialization(s): Areas of special interest include political science (legislative reform, governability, international relations, regional studies, rule of law, U.S. government and politics); economic policy, economic and tax reform, international trade (free trade, applied commercial practices, open markets); environmental science and policy; the humanities and social sciences, and veterinary sciences.
Language: Good to fluent Spanish is required. Applicants must submit a language proficiency report.

Length of Grant: 4 months to 9 months
Starting Date: July 2009 or later
