Grant Activity: Applicants may propose research projects, lecturing projects or a combination of both. Lecturing and lecturing/research grantees are expected to conduct seminars, advise on university curriculum or provide other assistance as requested by the host institution. All grantees may be asked to deliver occasional public lectures.

Specialization(s): While applications in any discipline will be considered, preference will be given to projects that fall within the Bolivia program's priority areas: democratization (civil society development, civic education, NGO strengthening); economic development (broad-based growth); public health; environmental issues (sustainable development, ecology); American studies; education (including curriculum reform) and rural development.

Language: Fluent Spanish is required; applicants must submit a language proficiency report.
|
|
Location: Applicants are encouraged to arrange affiliation and include letter of invitation.
|
|
Length of Grant: 3 months to 9 months
|
|
Starting Date: June 2009 or later
|
|
